His musical talent and sensitivity to sound led him to become a sound designer and music producer.
Mirco Mencacci has managed his own recording studio in the Tuscan town where he was born. In 1999 Mirco created the sound post-production company SAM in Rome. Since then, he has created the sound design for some of Italy’s most important features including “Le fate ignoranti” and “La finestra di fronte” directed by Ferzan Ozpetec, and “La meglio gioventù” directed by Marco Tullio Giordana.
Mirco Mencacci has always been interested in sound experimentation and is currently waiting to inaugurate the first Italian Foundation for Sound which will be located in Tuscany. The Foundation aims to foster research and promotion of the world of sound to the general public.
C'est avec beaucoup de plaisir que nous l'accueillons cette année à Aubagne pour une carte blanche riche de la cinématographie italienne et pleine de sensibilité quant au regard sur les enfants non-voyants.
