L’improbable Orchestra

The band gets formed in 2004. The name, L’Improbable Orchestra, stands out by itself: improvisation, complicity, humour, chance, connivance, movements, outbursts, the scheme remains open. The repertoire, evolutionary, is constituted of original compositions as well as standards widely reviewed, completely reinvented even… The musical direction, mostly jazz, remains in attempt: music made of air and spaces of creations inside. The band improvises on stage, refusing to present a repertoire settled down in rehearsals. The L’Improbable Orchestra enjoys being endangered, and its crossed rhythmics of world music erupts from all sides; everything is possible. This is the perfume of freedom, which is the true cement of the Improbable Orchestra.

The Simple

The simple is a rock trio, very alternative. Influenced by the more diverse musical trends, “simply” directed, we can find there some common roots with Africa, punk music, jazz… and this, in an energy definitely rock, as if Police has been meeting Franck Zappa and Nirvana. A repertoire of original compositions, most of the time with high tempo and in Uncle Tom’s language, trying, as far as possible, to poetize, to denounce the systematically consumer universe, a universe of consensus and formatting… and that’s what The Simple tries to do: avoid formats, invite libertarian.

Originality from Marseilles, Alatoul was created in 2001. Remarkable thanks to their lively show and festive mood, these musicians expose their diverse influences (French song, swing New Orleans, reggae, funk) in their own compositions. Formed by 4 cranks with easy bragging (guitar, trombone, accordion, banjo, trumpet, clarinet, low clarinet), this band distinguished itself by a sound novelty, wild melodies and stirring rhythms.
