Nuit noire is a fable based on the marriage of black and white, snow and night, blood and milk, of an old Europe and the Africa it has invented, of the subterranean life of scarabs and the aerial one of butterflies. Trapped between desire and repulsion, and inspired by his lost paradise of childhood loves, Oscar gradually abandons his life to terrifying phantoms.
