A middle age man who had disappeared for the past 22 years returns to his birthplace and hometown, intending to sell the properties and family house he inherited before returning back to his new origin. Upon his arrival at the house and contrary to his expectations, he finds the house alive and occupies, with a sign of a restaurant on the first floor carrying the name of « Attieh », a girl he grew up with, loved, and were to marry before his sudden disappearance. Tooka, Attieh’s daughter who is concerned and worried for her mother, her establishment over the years, other workers future, and the little happy female community decides to take the matter in her own hand and delay the sale transaction of the house. Imitating from Shahrzad story, she replaces the nightly stories with variety of local delightful dishes to Aziz in hope of reviving the old happy memories and reigniting of the past love between the two in time.

Ali Raffï

Born in 1939 in Isfahan, Ali Raffi studied in France. He’s graduated in sociology, in dramatic arts, in film and stage direction. He then performed in a number of films & TV programs in France and England. He teaches now at Tehran University. He was the managing director of Tehran Civic Theater from 1975 – 1979. He performed the stage production of the plays.
